Synopsis:
In a small Northern Irish border town in 1957, a young unwed mother is the object of both fascination and scorn for the locals, as she keeps the identity of the baby's father unkown. When a troupe of travelling players sets up camp, she finds herself courted by the town's constable as well as a handsome, charismatic young actor from the troupe.
