Synopsis:
A reckless young man, working as a lathe operator in a British industrial town, lives for his weekends of boozing, schmoozing, and bedding his co-worker's wife. When she get's pregnant and he gets beaten to a pulp for it, he wakes up to reality, but only slightly. He marries the virginal girl-next-door and tries to give it a go as a good old blue-collar family man.
